Nazareth- Linga

Nazareth Hospital hosted the monthly minister’s breakfast meeting in the hospital chapel on Saturday, February 6th. Pastor Suheil Batheesh led the meeting and welcomed the attendees, then shared a brief devotion from 1 John chapter 1 entitled ‘The Importance of Fellowship,’ followed by a brief history about the ministry of the hospital. The Nazareth Hospital Chapel can seat about 250 people and is open to all evangelical ministries in the country.

Brother Zaher Haddad shared about the ministry among students and their activities at their universities, pointing out the important role of each student in sharing the Gospel with other students.
Hend Shoufani, a student who serves in the student ministry, shared about the impact of the ministry on her life, and spoke about the upcoming conference for students next 19-20/3/2010 in Nes Aameem entitled “What Do You Know About Jesus?”

Brother Saul shared about Emmaues Bible Shop followed by Brother Kameel Daw who spoke about his intention of publishing a daily devotional book in Arabic by the end of this year, and encouraged everyone to be involved in it through the Evangelical Convention.

Brother Aziz Daaem, director of the Evangelical Convention in Israel, shared about the convention’s committees and their purpose to strengthen the local ministries. He explained the role of the constitution committee and the importance of recognition of the Local Evangelical Convention by the International Evangelical Convention.
Brother Rajaei Samawei shared about the Ministry of the Sudanese brothers in Tel Aviv Church and their need for food and accommodation.

The meeting ended with a word of prayer led by Brother Yosef Ajaj.
