First Baptist Church in Bethlehem Hosts Conference on Spiritual Healing

The First Baptist Church in Bethlehem, along with an international British foundation, held a conference entitled “Spiritual Healing” and included drama activities and lectures. Various topics were discussed and ranged from ‘generational sin and the basis of faith’ to ‘the healing of grief and depression.’ Attendees included about 60 people from different cities such as Bethlehem, Beit Sahour, Beit Jala and Jerusalem with the addition of 7 women and 2 men from Britain.

The conference lasted two days, from July 12th through July 13th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Participants took part in dialogue and group activities. Most of the attendees expressed enthusiasm for the conference material and plan to attend others in the future. Topics of interest include spiritual development and deepening faith practices.
