Lavi Forest- Linga

An annual gathering held in Lavi Forest joined believers in Christ from the Galilee together on Saturday, October 2nd. Arab Evangelicals and Messianic believers, along with Russian and English speaking Christians, joined together as a symbol of love and fellowship among those in Christ.

The program began with a word of prayer from Claude Azkouri, pastor of Kochab Hashahar “Dawn Star” congregation from Tiberias, followed by a time of praise and worship in Hebrew led by the praise team of “God’s Vineyard” congregation in Haifa, ending with a short message from Brother Claude.

Pastor Edward Tanous, pastor of the Assembly of God church in Haifa, preached a message from Jeremiah 15:19-21 entitled “Returning to God”. Following the message, the attendees gathered in small prayer groups to pray for the return of the people of the Holy Land to God.

A time of praise and worship in Arabic was led by the Nazarene Church praise team from Nazareth, led by Pastor Nizar Touma. The gathering concluded with prayers for church leaders in the country and a time of fellowship.
