Nazareth- Linga

On Sunday, October 24th, the Local Baptist Church in Nazareth held an annual service dedicated to the Nazareth Baptist School. This service highlights the students and teachers and offers a chance for parents to gather and hear about current school events and accomplishments.

The meeting began with a scripture reading and a time of worship led by Tony Yameeni. This was followed with a greeting by Botrus Mansour, the general director of Baptist School, who shared a presentation about the school.
Pastor Phil Hill, current interim pastor of Local Baptist Church and Pastor Hanna Katanacho, member of the Baptist School board, both offered a prayer for God’s blessing and protection over the school.

Rev. Dr. Dick Thomasian, director of Friends of Nazareth, gave a message from Acts 5:12-18 on worship as a catalyst for God’s love in the life of the church. He emphasized the importance of church work and a focus on the Great Commission.

The service was followed with a time of fellowship and refreshments.
