Linga- Haifa

The Assembly of God Church in Haifa held a Christmas gathering on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Rana Bishara led the gathering as host.

Pastor Edward Tanous, leader of the church, began with welcoming words and a prayer of blessing, followed by Christmas readings with reenactments of the readings by the church youth group. Elias Tanous shared a Christmas song entitled ‘Glory to Christ.’

Fareed Shehade shared a brief devotion about the love of Jesus Christ for all people and our responsibility to follow His example and love one another. This was followed by a dramatic play performed by the church children and a video entitled ‘Oh Fountain of Love.’

Mr. Shehade presented Pastor Edward and his wife with a gift of appreciation on behalf of the church and thanked them for their love and Christian ministry. Pastor Edward wished everyone a happy Christmas and a blessed New Year and ended the meeting in prayer.

As the program ended, Santa Claus arrived and distributed gifts to the children.
