Linga- Nazareth

On Wednesday, April 21st the Evangelical Baptist Church of Nazareth held a special Easter program. Pastor Fuad Sakhnini opened the service with words of welcome and a special prayer.

Samer Boutros, Life Agape Director, welcomed attendees including the Redeemer’s Praise Team and the Melody of Peace team, led by Fadi Hanna. Mr. Boutros shared a brief devotion on the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Worship was led by both the Redeemer’s Praise Team and Melody of Peace with Fadi Hanna on piano. Rose Mattar shared a vocal solo called “Jesus Knocking on My Door.”

The main message was brought by Samer Boutros from Galatians 6:14 entitled “The Cross.” He focused on the supreme importance of the cross in our lives and how we should seek Jesus when we face trials, remembering how he suffered on our behalf.

An altar call was offered at the conclusion with a charge to all believers to share the gospel with others. Pastor Ibrahim Simaan ended the service with a prayer of blessing.
