Linga-Mount Carmel

Sister Rose Obeid, coordinator for the Association of Baptist Churches Womens Ministry in Israel, worked along with Light for All Nations Ministry to coordinate a special day of prayer for women on Mount Carmel.
The program began with an historical background about the mountain by Pastor Nizar Shaheen, followed by a sermon from 1 Kings, chapter 18 about the importance of prayer and its influence. The women then gathered for fellowship and a time of prayer together.

The second part of the program took place at Mount Carmel Park where the women were divided into prayer groups which were led by: Ruth Saed, Andera Hanna, Lina Eid, Sahar Sadran, Oumaima Daeem, Randa Khazen. Sister Amal Matar led the worship in singing and the program ended with light refreshments.
