Knesset members were surprised on Tuesday when they found  in their mail boxes of the Knesset Holy Bible (New Testament)in Hebrew, which was distributed with the Old Testament luxury package.

The sources said that the Hebrew Bibles arrived to members of the Knesset by a man named Victor Kalish , General Director General of the Bible Institution in Israel.

The package also included a note in Hebrew, "We are pleased to offer this new version of the book which includes 90,000 references. As it's a precious fruit of cooperation between the institution of the Bible in Israel and among the faithful all over the world who love the Scriptures."

Some members of the Knesset were upset of this gift, and called MK Tzipi Hotobla of the Likud Party to prevent the distribution of literature to the mail of  the Knesset members.

MK Ben-Ari, not only expressed his frustration of receiving a New Testament, but he tore the Bible in front of the camera and then threw it in the trash. He justified his actions by saying "This book was obnoxious reason to kill millions of Jews."
