Nazareth Baptist School has sent recently condolences letter to Sandy Hook Elementary school in Connecticut that has been struck by a devastating tragedy which shook the United States.

Pastor Azar Ajaj, Vice President of Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary has visited before the area as he spoke at Walnut Hill Community church that he eventually knew in the recent tragedy, two families of the church have lost two children at Sandy Hook school shooting !

Greetings from Nazareth, Israel,

I am writing you in behalf of our 994 students as well as staff, parents and board of Nazareth Baptist School from Nazareth, Israel-the home town of Jesus.

We were shocked together with the whole world when we heard about the tragedy at your school.
Apparently the husband of our Bible teacher in the Primary School Mrs. Ibtisam Ajaj, Rev. Azar Ajaj has been to your area earlier this year. He stayed in Walnut Hill Community Church.

Through Rev. Ajaj we got a call for prayer and we decided to also send you words of encouragement.

Hereby are words of condolences from our Parents’ committee as well as passages that represent each section in school: Administration, High School, Junior High School, Primary School, Counseling department and the employees.

Our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences for your big loss at your school. We, as parents committee in the Baptist School  in Nazareth- Israel,  totally sympathizes with the parents who lost their dear children  - sons and daughters, and also our hearts break for the loss of the school staff. The tragedy is big but we believe that God can comfort the hearts, heal the pain and help you go over the crisis and move on doing what you are doing in your mission of education to the young generations.

As a teacher for first and second grades, it was very hard for me to hear about this tragedy, and it simply broke my heart.
