Linga : Nazareth

Church of House of Jesus the King inaugurated its new building on Saturday 23rd February 2013. Members of the church, friends and other evangelical ministers attended the inauguration service.

Brother Salim Shallash, Pastor of the church opened the celebration with a warm welcome to the audience. Brother Elias Sam’an, Elder of the church gave a short word followed by Pastor Ibrahim Samaan who shared a word of encouragement from the Word of God.

Following this, several photos were shown from the time when the building was under construction and also some photos of the various church activities that took place at the church throughout the Christmas period 2012.

Quite a few people of the audience shared a few special paragraphs, we specifically mention Marola Samara who shared a poem she had written. In addition,Gloria Maqdasy and Mishleen  Fakhoury sang two special songs and Pastor Afif Saba offered a prayer of blessing asking God’s presence and His Work to continue to dwell in the church and its ministry.

The ministers then blessed the church in prayer as everyone were in one accord in spirit and soul when the Lord ’s Prayer was being recited. Towards the end of the celebration, Fadi Hanna ,Director of Children Evangelism Fellowship, concluded with a word of prayer.

As a reminder of notice that the church started off with 7 members, and today by the grace of the Lord, there are 65 effective members serving the Lord.

Brother Salim Shallash thanked all the ministers and members who helped arrange for this special occasion. He asked the Lord to bless all the guests who take part in this event.
