Linga-Nazareth

An ecumenical global day of prayer was held on March 5th 2013, at the chapel of The Nazareth Hospital where many representatives from various Christian denominations gathered. The title of the day was “I was a stranger and you invited me.” The focus was to pray for the foreign refugees in France.

Pastor Soheil Batheesh, hospital chaplain, opened the service up. Mrs. Inaam Azzam shared about the artistic drawing which was specifically set for this occasion. Pastor Fouad Dagher, pastor of the Anglican Evangelical church in Shefamr, led a time of praise and worship. There were more prayers by several brothers and sisters.

Pastor Joseph Main, CEO of the Nazareth Trust, shared a word from  John 17: 21-22:  “That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

Pastor Ibrahim Samaan concluded with a word of prayer.
