The Fellowship of Christian students in Israel held its annual conference for Arab and Jewish students in the Baptist village near BethTikva from 7-9 March 2013. Around 140 students attended from different universities and colleges all around the country. Fifteen foreign students were also there.

On the first day of the conference students got to effectively know one another. A meeting of praise and worship followed, led by brother Udi alongside the praise and worship team which included: Rawan Sabah, Ala Samara, Jwana Musa, BassamYusef, Gizelle Khoury, Antone Farhoud, Bascal Sallas and Zahi Shallufi.

The title of the conference was “To know and love the other” , Etan Kashtan shared about love from John 3: 16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” A lecture on the theme of love followed.

The following day Azeez Da’eem shared from 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27 “One body, Many parts” and from Galatians 5: 13-26 “Serve one another in love.”There was a lecture afterwards to continue this topic.Raja Geryes translated the lectures and sermons from Hebrew to Arabic and vice versa.

During the conference, participants gathered in prayer groups to share what was gleaned from the conference’s sermons and lectures as well as to pray for theseveral needs. There was also some time for fellowship and fun and enjoyment through various activities. In addition,Zaher Haddad organized a few activities.
