Linga- Nazareth
The Fellowship of Christian students in Israel held a training conference for university students at Saint Margaret’s hotel in Nazareth on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 16-18 May 2013. The conference was about the importance of preaching the Gospel and on sharing Christ with people from different backgrounds in a variety of creative and suitable methods.
At the beginning of the conference, Rasha Saba, the coordinator of the ministry of the Arab students at FCSI shared about methods of evangelising and building relationships with students at the university. Zaher Haddad, General Secretary of FCSI shared in a workshop about new and creative methods for evangelising amongst students, in a way that they are compatible to the environment and the culture of the student. George Abdo presented a lecture on sharing Christ with atheists and on how to answer questions that deny the existence of God.
Pastor Rajai Samawi gave three seminars about how to do follow up for the new believers and how to include them in small groups and churches. He also shared about evagelism amongst non Christians and nominal Christians and how to answer the questions they have about Christian faith.
