On Saturday, The Bible society held the monthly breakfast gathering under the auspices of the Evangelical churches council in Israel. The gathering was held at Saint Gabriel’s restaurant in Nazareth where many evangelical ministers and their wives from different churches and organizations in Galilee were present.
The day also happened to be the global day of prayer to which the Pope of Vatican Francis the First called, in order to lift up prayers for Syria. The evangelical ministers prayed along with the other denominations and places in the world, in one spirit and asked that peace would reign in Syria after a long time of intense conflict.
After having breakfast, many of the attendees shared about the programmes that they have done recently and about their upcoming ministries. They asked the attendance to pray for everyone’s work so that everything done would glorify Christ’s name and that it would lead to the spread of His Word amongst the people.
