Linga- Haifa

The Lord is My Banner Team, under the leadership of Pastor Khaled Dalle, held its 2nd Christmas performance at New Covenant Church in Haifa. Attendance was estimated at about 500 people from different evangelical denominations.
The program began with welcoming and prayer from Pastor Yosef Dakwar the leader of New Covenant Church. This was followed with the program introduction by Brother Ghassan Odeh from the Evangelical Baptist Church in Kfar Yaseef and special Christmas carols and scripture readings. 

The Kings Kids team, affiliated with the House of Light ministry in Shefamer, performed several crowd pleasing dances and the Hand Bell Choir, led by Brother Fadi Hanna, played some well known Christmas carols. In addition, a short Christmas video clip was shown, and two special songs were performed by Johnny Ghantous and Sawsan Sabah, members of the Lord is My Banner team.

Pastor Khaled Dalle shared a short devotional about the true meaning of Christmas: we should focus on cleaning and preparing our hearts to receive our King instead of cleaning and decorating our houses for guests. The true meaning of Christmas is found in Jesus alone. 

At the end of the program Pastor Yosef Dakwar thanked everyone that was involved and invited them to the front for prayer.
