At the first meeting of new council meeting of the convention of Evangelical churches in Israel, which was held in Haifa last Wednesday 17.9.2014, Pastor Rajai Samawi was elected as the Chairman of the convention at its current term for 3 years. Both Pastors Botrus Ghryaeb and Yousef Dakwar were elected as vice chairmen, Pierre Tannous as the council Secretary and Rani Saba as the Treasurer.

In addition to those members, the council includes Pastor Azar Ajaj, Pastor Hani Billan, Bishara Deeb and Kamil Daw.

Pastor Rajai is the pastor of Nazareth Illit Baptist Church and the Director of Back to Jerusalem Ministry.
