Grace Ministry held a Training Program on Friday for women at the Evangelical Baptist Church in Rama. The title  of the training was “Women in Spiritual Ministry”. Many women from different places in Galilee participated in the training.

Rose Obaid

Sister Rose Obaid started the meeting with a word of welcome. She thanked the pastor of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Rama, brother Ziyad Farrag for his invitation to hold this training Program in the Eevangelical Church in Rama village.

She also thanked Pastor Andrawos Abu Ghazalah for his attendance and his encouragement for the ministry of women:
1) Trust in the Divine redemption through Jesus Christ; it is through His death that mankind obtained salvation and purification from every iniquity. Not believing in the resurrection makes our faith in vain.
2) Submit to the Prophetic Word especially in difficult circumstances. God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a therapy to our pain. It purifies us from every deep pain.
3) Enjoy brotherly love in accordance with 1 Peter 1:22: “ Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart.”

She emphasised that believers who live according to these points will not be likely to be broken. Real love heals souls and covers a multitude of sins

Majd Shufani led the time of Praise and Worship, Shady Obaid and Ehab Obaid played the instruments.

Pastor Andrawos Abu Ghazala gave a message about the Character of Deborah the Judge. He talked about ow God used her mightily amongst the people.

He said that Deborah had great faith in God. She knew how to listen to His voice despite of the other voices that were around her.

In the second part of the meeting, Pastor Andrawos talked about the spiritual strategies of every believer:
1) The Guidance of the Holy Spirit.
2) Emphasis on the heavenly vision.
3) Spiritual flexibility, just like Paul: “Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. ”( Philippians 4: 11- 13 4) Discipleship and raising spiritual leaders.
5) Setting a good example in ministry.

He then shared some points that can stand as an obstacle in ministry:
1) Religious traditions and duties.
2) Routine; getting used to things and as a result it would become difficult to have spiritual discerning.
3)Stumbling: Wounds, bitterness, and Unforgiveness.
4) Unrepentance and clinging to the life of sin.
5) Responsibilities and the lack of free time.
6) Immaturity; making excuses when God desires to work in us.

At the end of the sermon, some of the ladies went forward to receive prayer.

Everybody then shared a meal together.
