Linga - Nazareth
The Bible House Ministry in Nazareth, under the leadership of Director Dina Katanacho, began the first in a series of breakfast meetings for women in Christian ministry. Mrs Katanacho welcomed the attendees and explained the vision of Bible House Ministry, which was followed by a prayer by Eman Hanna.
Devotion was shared by Mrs Fida Hanna about the importance of giving Glory to God in all circumstances. She illustrated this point with a story about a couple who served as missionaries to Africa for 50 years before returning home to the United States. Upon their return, due to a clerical error within the institution they served with, no one was at the airport to welcome them and they were left on their own. Crushed, the man asked God in prayer why such a thing would happen to them when they returned home after all those years of faithful service. The answer the man received was this: You are not truly home yet.
Mrs Lena Habib of the Evangelical Episcopal Church in Kefar Yaseef shared about assisting church ministers, praying for leaders, biblical teaching and encouragement to read and work in the Word. She also spoke about fasting and prayer, visitation among church members, and worship and singing.
At the end of the program, Mrs Katanacho announced that a lecture featuring Dr Amal Khazen, a specialist in family and parenting matters, will be held on February 15 and is free for everyone.
