The Bible House held a free workshop on Monday, February 15 in Nazareth on how to manage children and adolescents. The workshop was led by Dr. Amal Khazen, an expert on matters of parenting and childhood and adolescence. The attendees included men and women from various cities and villages throughout the Galilee region and the seminar provided an opportunity for open dialogue on the subject of parenting young children and teens in today’s shifting culture.
This was the first in a series of meetings designed to equip parents with the necessary tools to raise their children according to biblical principles. The meetings will serve to create a forum of interaction between church and community leaders and residents and encourage families to participate in educational activities. They will deal with multiple issues ranging from setting limits for children and teens, correct discipline, responsiveness and obedience, conflict resolution, dealing with fear and anxiety, rebellion and other important topics.
Dina Katanacho, director of the Bible House, announced that the women’s breakfast meeting will be held on the 23rd of this month at 9:30 AM. She also announced that a second meeting in the series with Dr Amal will be held on the same day at the Bible House in Nazareth.
