Linga - Nazareth


Tuesday evening 22.09.2009 marked the beginning of the new semester at Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary (NETS).  The seminary, which was opened in September of 2007, seeks to impact the lives of indigenous Christians in the Holy Land by providing internationally accredited theological education and lay training. Student population is 60 students this year, a third of which are Sudanese refugees. They were in high spirits as they gathered for a brief opening prayer and statements by President Bryson Arthur and Dean of Students Azar Ajaj.
The seminary offers Bachelor of Divinity (BD) degrees, Master of Theology (MTh), Bachelor of Theology (BTh) in Arabic and a Leadership Development Certificate for those interested in church leadership. For more information please visit their website: www.nazarethseminary.org
