Beit Jala- Linga
The Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel ended its annual Fall conference at the Talitha Koumi School. The conference was entitled “Why am I Christian?” Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. (1 Corinthians 15:1)
The attendees included about 45 students from Israel and the West Bank who were college graduates or high school graduates.
The first day began with a sermon by Judge Jameel Naser entitled “The Christian Faith”, then the next day focused on “Hope & Love in the Christian Faith” using the verse from 1 Corinthians 13:3.
The second day program included a field trip to Bethlehem and a movie entitled “Chariots of Fire.”
The attendees were divided into groups to discuss the sermons and they also discussed Paul’s letter to the Philippians.
On the third day Brother Jameel shared a sermon about “How to be an Academic and Serve the Lord.”
