Turaan Baptist Church held a field trip for the youth group last Sunday the 4th of October. The youth visited many sites in the northern part of our country while working to strengthen the relationships between the youth and getting to know the places that our Lord Jesus knew. They also learned about the sites historical background.
The trip began with a visit to Tabgah on the shores of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus performed many miracles, then moved to Capernaum to see the archeological sites. Afterward they enjoyed breakfast on the mount of Beatitudes where Brother Shawel shared a devotion entitled “the Uniqueness of the Christian Believer” as revealed through the believers’ behavior.
They continued to Cesarea Philippi, where they hiked to the springs, then enjoyed a BBQ lunch and ending with games and sports activities.
Brother Salim Hanna led the trip by sharing a brief background of each site they visited, and the day ended with a sense of great happiness.
