The King’s Kids Team put on a beautiful performance of special dances and songs of glory to our Lord Jesus in the Baptist school hall. The program began with a word of welcome and prayer from Brother Anees Barhoom, the House of Light ministry director, in the town of Shefamer. He explained about the ministry of the team that started in 1993 and joined Arab and Jewish believers in Christ (from age 13 to 19 years old), together to learn the scripture and deepen their relationship with Jesus.
The team meets every week in Shefamer, while another team meets in Jerusalem for fellowship and training for shows. Team members meet once every two months from different areas of the country like Galilee, Jerusalem, and other towns for a one night sleep over for fellowship and to strengthen their relationship with the Lord.
Brother Anees Barhoum spoke about the summer camp for the team that was entitled “Action 29” which was aimed at encouraging youth to imitate the 29th chapter of Acts and to apply what they have learned. After the word from Brother Anees there was a beautiful show by the team which included dances, Christian songs, and a play that spoke of Jesus fighting our battles for us.After the performance some of the team members shared their testimonies about how God has changed their lives.
