Linga - Bethlehem

Families conference Concluded on the afternoon of Thursday, August 11, 2011 as the Conference was held by the Council of Local Evangelical Churches in the Holy Land.  The conference took place in Bethlehem Hotel and was attended by about 250 people.The conference theme was "The Christian and his Identity" (1 Peter 2: 9.10).

Dr. Munir Kakish, the President of the Council initiated the program with a word of welcome and participated in the various sessions in addition to Pastor Bassam Bannoura, Pastor Nihad Salman, Pastor Atallah Issawi, Pastor Johnny Shahwan, Pastor Mazen Nasrawi, Dr. Fadi Zoghbi and Brother Issa al-Najjar.  Rev. Andrawes Abu-Ghazaleh was featured as the keynote speaker for the conference.

The conference included a number of lectures, workshops, Bible studies and prayer sessions.There were also praise and worship sessions in which teams from the different Evangelical churches participated,led by Brother Michael Kakish, Brother Munther Isaac and Pastor Mazen Nasrawi.

Special programs for the children were also provided by many individuals including Pastor Sami Farah and Brother Tony Samaan and his wife. These programs included crafts, swimming, trips and other various activities.
