On Sunday , August 14th  marked the last full day of our SERVE team being in Nazareth. As a celebration of their time here, we held a special service together with people from their placements, to join together in fellowship.

The chapel of Nazareth Hospital was filled with friends of the participants and it was great to see people from Nazareth and Nazareth Illit coming to worship together with us, in celebration of all God has done this summer.

Each of the participants gave a short testimony of their time here and received gifts as a thank you for all their hard work.

Testimonies:

Richard, from California says “Before I came here, I was not doing very well. I decided while here to give everything to God and He has blessed me with so much and done so much in my life. God has blessed me a lot by serving and I am excited to see what He has for me”.

Karl, from South Carolina says; “I got to be among the believers in Nazareth and Nazareth Illit and got to see how great of a light they were in this place. I also had the opportunity to see Israel and Nazareth in general as a place that needs light.”

We are so thankful for Karl, Richard, Kayla and Mark who we were all blessed to get to know this summer.

We thank God also for Leo, our volunteer summer staff for his help and support. Leo gave Genesis 22: 14 to all the group as an encouragement "And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided”, reminding us that the Lord will provide for each of us, wherever we are.

We are so thankful for all the group, for everything they did, for their willingness to serve others and for all that God has planned for them as they return home.
