The Church of the Nazarene in Nazareth concluded two revival meetings on August 31st. The meetings, led by Pastor Guirguis Halim of Rivers of Life Church in Toronto, Canada began on Tuesday night, August 30th and drew full attendance from both church members and local believers.

Praise and worship was led by George Karam of Rivers of Life Church and Ziad Faraj of Tur’an Baptist Church. Pastor Halim gave a sermon entitled “I am your shield” on the first night. He focused on encouraging believers to recommit themselves to the work of the Lord on the second night. He urged the attendees to be like lions in their faith, bold and unafraid. The revival ended with a time of prayer and praise.

Pastor Halim is a guest of the Maranatha Church in Ramah and was the keynote speaker at their Wisdom Conference, held in the Haddad village tourist resort in Jenin, August 25-28.
