The Church of Assymbly of God in Shefaram held a special service on Saturday 24/9/2011, with Pastor. Dr. Elia Malki and fifty people of guests coming with him from the United States.

The Meeting was opened by Pastor Marwan Beem welcoming Pastor Elia Malki and attendees, then lifted a prayer of blessing for the meeting and led the worship with the church choir.

In attendees was the Acting Mayor of Shefaram Jeries Hanna, who took part by sharing his feeling about the presence of Christ in the midst of them strongly, and thanked the church for their inviting him to this meeting, and admitted that he was not preacher nor an evangelist, but a real Christian.

Pastor Elia Malki spoke about the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross and his resurrection from the dead, and many applied in asking Christ's salvation and prayed for healing.

Some members who attended the meeting witnessed about Christ's work in their lives from last year meetings with Pastor Elia Malki and shared about the mircales that the Lord has done in their lives .

The Attendance reached 200 people, except children, and many of the attendees were non-believers of addicts and from other backgrounds,who stood to pray and some of them cried.

Pastor Elia also shared about the writing of his new book "Ambassador in Chains" which talks about his life and his ministry, it has been translated into Arabic as well. He talked more about the beginning of his ministry through the television, which was the first Arabic Christian program that pioneered for 12 years.
