On Saturday 22.10.2011, a baptism service was held in the Jordan River for the churches of Eilabun, Haifa and Nazareth Assymbly of God.

Pastor Khalid Dally, the pastor of the Evangelincal Baptist Church in Eilabun, began the service with a word of prayer to encourage and bless the people who were going to be baptized. 29 people took this step of faith and were baptized on that day.

Following that, Pastor Edwar Tanous, the pastor of the Assymbly of God church in Haifa and Nazareth, shared with the crowd a brief explanation about the meaning and the importance of being baptized, saying that it is a step of faith, based on believing that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He came to earth to die for our sins.

Afterwards, the crowd sang a song " I decided to follow Christ " and the members who were to be baptized went down to the water with the pastors to get baptized.

Finally, Pastor Edwar Tanous prayed for the people who were baptized and then they all headed to Park Ha Yarden to have lunch & fellowship together.To end that day, people praised and worshiped God for what he did in their lives and how He changed their lives in miraculous ways.
