The Bible House in Nazareth has held a lecture by Rev. Dr. Yohanna Katanacho entitled "From Manuscript to Contemporary Translation", on Saturday, October 21, 2011.

Rev. Katanacho spoke about ancient manuscripts and the methods of evaluating them. He also spoke about the challenges faced by the translator of the Bible in determining the text prior to translation.

Despite those challenges, Rev. Katanacho emphasized the credibility of the contemporary available Scriptures.
The meeting was attended by a group of intellectual men and women from various church backgrounds, which interacted with lecturer by asking intelligent questions.

The meeting ended with the suggestion of holding additional lectures which handle the Bible from an academic perspective.
