Linga - Nazareth

The Evangelical Baptist Church in Nazareth hosted, Pastor Charlie Sharp, singer Mounir Habib with some guests from the United States, for a revival meeting for the members of the Church.

Brother Samer Boutros opened the meeting with welcoming words, followed by singer Mounir Habib who led the praise and worship ; accompanied by Pastor Jack Sara on keyboard, and Yousef Touma on violin.

During the praise and worship , brother Tayseer shared his testimony and of his walk with the Lord since 1974 . He mentioned how pastor Charlie Sharp was a source of encouragement in the begining of his walk with Christ.

Pastor Charlie Sharp preached the word from the Gospel of John 19:30; and he began by emphasizing that salvation is a begining for the believer's path and not the end. He stressed the importance of seeking power from Christ to enable us to accomplish our task in sharing the Gospel with everyone. He ended by putting an emphasis on the power of prayer and its importance in the life of the believer.

Brother Munir Habib ended the meeting with a praise medley that was followed by a time of fellowship and refreshements.

Pastor Sharp and Brother Munir Habib have been touring the country leading revival meetings since last wednesday.
