Linga- Abu Sinan

Kfar Yasif Baptist Church and the Lord is My Banner praise team joined together to host a special Christmas program on Friday, December 23, 2011 in the village of Abu Sinan. Hundreds of people attended from cities and villages across the Galilee.

The program began with a welcome by the evening's host, Ghassan Odeh. Special recognition was given to the mayor of Abu Sinan, Ali Hazim and his deputy Dr. Naim Musa, who donated the use of the auditorium for the event. Pastor Khaled Dalle gave a prayer of blessing.

Mr. Odeh invited Mayor Ali Hazim to share a word with the audience. Mayor Hazim gave Christmas greetings, asking special remembrance for the Christians of Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon as they face persecution.

The celebration was led by the Lord is My Banner praise team and they performed many beautiful Christmas songs. They were joined by the children's group King's Kids, who danced to several songs. The Kfar Yasif Sunday School children also gave a special performance to the tune of "Jingle Bells." A suprise performance by the Lord is My Banner Children's team brought rounds of applause.

Pastor Khaled Dalle, leader of Kfar Yasif Baptist Church and director of the Lord is My Banner team, also served as the key note speaker. He shared about the birth of Jesus and how He came to bring salvation to all human beings. He offered an altar call at the conclusion of the message for those who wished to receive Christ.

The program concluded with a word of thanks from Mr. Odeh who also announced that the Lord is My Banner team will lead the annual Mother's Day celebration in March.
