George Andrea - the Bible society director in Aleppo

We have just been informed, the news of the release of the Bible society director in Aleppo, Syria brother George Andrea and his colleague, Manu Pedrosian, two weeks after being kidnapped by an unidentified group.

Linga contacted the director of the Bible Society in Palestine Nash’at Philemon, who confirmed the news about the release of brothers George and Manu, and said that their release was a miracle, especially as the people who were abducted recently, were killed. He said that in spite of the difficult conditions experienced in our country of the fights between the Israeli army and the Palestinian resistance and despite of the sad scenes we see in the media, this news was like cold water for the thirsty soul. Mr. Philemon thanked all those who joined in prayer for the release of George and Manu.

The group that abducted them had demanded a ransom for their release alive, but we did not know for sure if they have received it or not.
