International Christian organization plans to submit a petition to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the release of imprisoned Christians who were caught by police while praying in a private home in Jeddah.

The Saudi authorities have arrested 35 of the Ethiopian Christians, men and women were meeting for prayer on December 15th 2011.

The Saudi authorities said they arrested them because of the mixed meeting between the sexes, while one  Christian mentioned that the arrest happened because they were gathered for prayer.

The international Christians organization said that those arrested had been imprisoned without trial, men have been subjected to beatings by the Saudi investigators,and that one of them was injured seriously in one of the ribs and they prevented him from movement until recently. In addition to ridicule them and their Christian faith.

Saudi authorities did not say if they want to release the detainees or not!

The organization is preparing to sebd an official petition to the Saudi Arabia's ambassador in the United States urging him to take immediate actions to liberate the prisoners.
